There’s this one color that defines a lot of the emotions that I’ve been writing about lately, really great emotions like frustration, anger, jealousy, falling in love, falling out of love, heartbreak, all that good stuff. And you know I read about that stuff so much that I even named an entire album after it, and I even went so far as to name an entire world tour after it, because ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, colors that define the emotions that shape up and teach us things, I think there’s one color that represents the most important ones, and that color is RED.

when did we replace the word “said” with “was like”

When it occured to us that “said” implies a direct quote, while “was like” clarifies that you mean to communicate the person’s tone and general point without quoting them word for word.

thank you. thank you so much. so very very much. thank you.

I have a lot of anxiety about things on certain days, but I have anxiety because I care. It’s not anxiety that’s crippling. It’s a five-minute conversation with myself about if a [sales] number really defines this piece of art that I’ve created and what that means, and what the number’s going to be. I try to predict what it’s going to be, and then I realize that I can’t predict what it’s going to be, and then I sit there and say something to myself like, ‘Well, you’re happy today. Enjoy this and be proud of the music that you’ve made.’

"Cinderella never asked for a prince. She asked for a night off and a dress."

"The two times they wouldn’t let us and then we sort of broke the rules, because we felt … but the third time we finally actually did but they told us not to, but we were just like … It was more awkward to be so close together but not kiss than to actually kiss. Laura is always really professional on set so I didn’t know why Disney Channel made a big deal about not letting us kiss"

Ross Lynch about the kiss with Laura (via lovingtheshow)

I had a better social life when I was like 8 years old than I do now.
